Cutting the city’s ties to the fossil fuel industry
The Mayor of London has committed to divest the City Hall pension from fossil fuels, and we’re working with him to turn this promise into reality in the coming months.
At the Mayoral elections in 2016, the candidates from Labour, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and the Greens all pledged to divest.
In the local elections in May, we asked Council candidates to commit to divest their local borough pension funds, and sign-up to this pledge for their London Borough:
