Last week, within nine hours of each other, the student senates of both UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara passed resolutions supporting fossil fuel divestment. This sends a strong message to the UC Regents that students support a policy change in how the UC system’s $6 billion endowment pool is invested. Go California!
