*The events in Paris brought us to silence and lots of emotions passed. But..we also know that it is more urgent than ever for us to take the lead and fight for a different world. That’s why we are still committed to go to Paris and find new creative ways to make our voice heard. We’ll follow the lead of our 350.org-colleagues currently in Paris who are doing an amazing job. The deadline for registration for this bustrip will be postponed to Friday the 27th of November*

The COP21 climate negotiations in Paris are quickly coming closer, and we don’t want to miss out! In fact, we want to use this moment as an empowering opportunity to grow and strengthen our divestment movement. And because it is more fun to travel together, Fossielvrij NL has arranged a bus which will bring us to the ‘city of light’. Read more below or sign up now.

What are we going to do in Paris?
Take the lead to tackle climate change!

Update 20-11-15: At the moment all the possibilities for different kinds of actions in Paris are being considered. In this we will follow the lead of our 350.org-colleagues currently in Paris who are doing an amazing job at that. See for updates this live blog.

Additional information:
Even if you are not yet actively involved in the Fossil Free / divestment movement in the Netherlands, you are welcome to join if you like our plan!

The bus will take approx. 7 / 8 hours, so we will arrive in Paris in on Wednesday evening and be back in the Netherlands on Monday evening.

Once we are in Paris, it is of course up to you what you want to do, we’ll have an overview of possible activities so if you find all the options of workshops/trainings overwhelming or don’t know many people, you’ll have a group to stay with.

Regarding the actions that will take place in Paris, it is completely up to you if you want to take part in the direct actions or not. There are also many degrees to which you can take part in direct actions – we aim for everyone to feel comfortable and safe. Our presence is nevertheless sending a strong signal to the world leaders that “If you’re not gonna solve it for us, we’re gonna solve it for you.”

See you in Paris!
