There are 3 main ways we encourage you to get your MP on board: 

1. Organise a Divest Parliament workshop in your community
   • We will support you to put on a political lobbying workshop to get locals skilled up and empowered to approach MPs about divestment.
   • Fill in this survey to register interest in hosting a workshop and we will be in touch to discuss working together to make this happen.
2. Write to your MP using WriteToThem.com asking them to pledge
   • Top tips: keep the letter short, introduce yourself, the rationale behind the campaign, why you want them to sign and include a link to the online pledge 
   • Email divestparliament@gmail.com to let us know how your MP responds and if you need any support with writing to your MP
3. Book a surgery meeting and get your MP to pledge in person
   • Meeting your MP in person is the most effective way to engage them about an issue, so contact your constituency office and book a surgery meeting with your MP!
