MPs won’t take action on climate change until they hear from their constituents about it. This October thousands of people will be organising local events or visiting their MPs to make sure concerns on climate change are being heard, and asking for an ambitious low carbon investment plan to deliver 100% clean energy within a generation. Oct 24th – 28th: Stop Barclays Fracking!

The company just given the greenlight to Frack in Ryedale – the first fracking in the UK for 5 years – is almost entirely owned by Barclays Bank.

On Oct 24th – 28th, people all over the country will be taking action at Barclays branches, putting pressure on them to divest, and deliver a decisive blow to the fracking dream. Please do join at a Barclays branch near you! Read more.

Saturday 1st Oct: #StayGrounded – aviation action (London)

Mass protest with Critical Mass at (as of yet undisclosed!) London airport protesting airport expansion ahead of crucial announcement. This is part of a global wave of climate justice actions while ‘International Civil Aviation Organisation’ meet. Read more and get involved.

Wednesday 12th Oct: Divestment demo at the Local Government Conference (London)
