Nyligen blev vi inbjudna på möte med Nobelstiftelsen. Här kommer en snabb rapport om vad som hände där:
Mötet med Nobelstiftelsen ägde rum i torsdags förra veckan och hade en bra positiv ton. Det verkar som att det finns öppningar för att ta ett första steg i frågan om divestering, även om ingenting är klart ännu. Stiftelsen håller med oss om att klimatförändringarna gör det bråttom att agera.
Det som har lett oss hit är förstås ditt stöd. Utan det skulle det inte bli några öppningar eller möten med de ansvariga. Under 2017 kommer vi fortsätta att sätta fossilindustrin i strålkastarljuset och divestering på agendan.
Vårt möte med Nobelstiftelsen gjorde det tydligt – vi kan sätta igång stora förändringar när vi går ihop i en fråga. Vi håller dig uppdaterad med vad som händer framöver. För att hålla trycket uppe vill vi gärna att ni hjälper oss samla fler namnunderskrifter också!

Recently we were invited to meet with the Nobel Foundation. Now we want to give you an update about it!
The meeting, where the CEO of the Nobel Foundation took part, happened last week and had a really positive vibe. There might be openings to take some kind of step forward on the path to divestment, although nothing is decided yet. The Foundation share our concerns about the urgency of climate action.
What brought us here is of course your support. Without it there wouldn’t be any openings or meetings with the people in charge. During 2017 we will continue to put divestment on the agenda and highlight the absurdity of fossil fuel investment!
Our meeting with Nobel made things clear: we can spark significant change if we work together on an issue. We’ll keep you posted about out plans throughout the year! To keep the pressure up, we would also ask you to share the petition now and again.
