ADVISORY: Long Islanders, environmentalists demand Senator Kaplan oppose Williams pipeline

MEDIA ADVISORY: LONG ISLAND – MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11 – 5:00 PM

Utility giant National Grid is holding Long Island hostage, using scare tactics about a gas shortfall to push for construction of a fracked gas pipeline under New York harbor. 

Senator Anna Kaplan is holding office hours on Monday. Activists will be calling upon her and other Long Island officials to demand that Governor Cuomo use his authority to stop this dangerous and unnecessary project.
