Students from Wageningen tell Shell: “Not on our campus!”

Shell recently visited the campus of the University of Wageningen with its Generation Discover festival. Students from Wageningen organised an action, claiming: “We think it’s very important to make kids interested science, and that they start thinking about world problems from an early age, but not when this is overseen by a huge polluter like Shell.”

The Climate Police is needed to enforce Sweden’s Climate Act

On January 1st, Sweden’s new Climate Act went into effect. It states that all governments need to address the goals of the Paris agreement from now on. That’s great, but failing to deliver on the law doesn’t have any real consequences.
