In Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Hanoi and Can Tho of Vietnam, young organisers worked with artist groups on a creative action “September Black Day.” Human statues, body painted in black, wearing coal masks, stood in the cities’ busiest public places like April 30th Park, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office to get the attention of local people and tourists, and to raise the awareness about the negative impacts of coal on the human and environmental health.
